Will these only fit in a type 4 case or could you also fit them into a type 1 case?

will 2 cylinders with no fins on the touching side give you more room than 95mm bore,
basically 95mm + sleeves touching each other .

I am not saying they will cool well , just asking if they will fit ?

Then you have to worry about head stud spacing or move the studs......

Right, thanks for the info. I'm personally impressed you can do this with diesel pots. I've been wondering for years if it would be possible to build a 2 stroke type 1 using motorbike pots/pistons and heads.

There is a build thread on here back in 2001 or so of a guy in the midwest that made a 2 stroke out of a bug engine. He also had a bus automatic trans mated to it in a drag sand rail. Pretty cool.

I don't think these can fit a t1 case. You could also fit them on a oxtboxer/wasser boxer case.

Isn't the bore spacing the same as Type 1 on Wasser cases?

Bore spacing is the same t1-wbx, head studs get moved on t1 when 4" bore or the like.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
