Must be jetting, I need help

Post by John Ghia »

I have a stock GD 2.0 liter with 40 IDFs
I adjusted the floats, 11 mm & 32 mm
fuel pump pressure is 3-3.5 psi

28 v
135 mains, but did the same with 115
200 airs
55 idle
50 pump

When it gets up to full throttle is dies and pops

I tried to post 2 videos, but it didn't work so here are the links:

Might be leaning out at the upper end. Have you tried larger mains, like maybe 145-155? Reduce your pressure, too. 3psi is max for Webers.

I forgot to update this thread and I dislike threads without resolution.
It ended up being valve float. I put a tach on it and relized it happened at 7000 RPM. Been running great since.
