As far as the IRS wheel bearings go, when trying to remember their placement, it always helped me to say, "balls with balls"...aka, ball bearing goes closest to CV joint (w/balls).

OK what is the deal with the spacing when you add rear disc brakes into the mix. Is the thickness of the caliper bracket the same as the thickness of the drum backing plate? I don't have pics of the rotors but one of them is trashed the splines are really stretched, the other one is questionable. Does anyone have the specs on the splines?

This looks helpful. Any way you could post the same for Type 2 SA? I'm struggling with the trans swap for my 64 bus.

It has redux boxes doesn't it? And should be a small nut..............

RGBs and large nut - the trans may not be original.

`63½-`67 were large nut.
