This is about how to repair and lubricate broken type 4 car gas flap cable assemblies. You should do this even if yours is currently working Short of finding one in a junkyard that is serviceable...they are nearly unobtanium.
They fit nothing else. Ray

That was a fun read - I've a bug, but learned a few things in there. Nice tip on the ATF for the cable. Could have used that tidbit when trying to dry out and lube the parking cable on a '76 Capri 30 years ago...in Pullman in January...
