Hi there,
Looking at getting a 1958 LHD Coupe, it's a daily runner but it has been kept by the coast for a number of years is there anything Major i should look out for?
Are parts for this year more rare to get a hold of then the 60's Models?
I don't have a massive amount of cash but the price seems right, on the same hand i don't want to turn it into a money pit or do a shoddy job on such a good looking KG.
Any tips on what to look out for?
many thanks Adam

Adam,
Welcome to STF!
Rust is number 1, 2 and 3. Underneath is much more a problem than on top. Heater channels, floors and wheel wells are common problems and are tough and expensive jobs. Surface body rust is easier, but will require paint and body work.
All mechanical stuff can be fixed. Probably you can do it, if you have some tools and a little experience. Ghia parts are more expensive than bugs, but not stupid ridiculous. Check Airhead Parts (or many others) for a sampling of prices.
Let's see those pics.
