Here is a pic of my GM column with a fake wood steering wheel($94) .......Don

I like that what all did you have to do to make the column fit.

it was not too difficult. I had to cut a opening in the area above the column for the starter switch to clear & buy
2 universal joints for the steering.....one for the end of the steering column & one for the steering box.

This allowed me to tear all the old wire out & install a chevy wiring harness(EZ wiring kit..less than $150) l
the wire was color coded & labeled every 5".

Thanks I work in Leesburg and stay in appopka a few times amonth.so maybe I'll get a chance to see it. I had an 86 firebird column given to me and I thought about using it in my bug.
