Small hose at fresh air inlet.

On my '69 Ghia Coupe there is a small hose connected to a nipple at the r/side fresh air inlet in the trunk near the gas filler pipe. It is routed across to the l/side and ends just behind the support for the left hood spring.
Could someone please tell me what the hose is for and what it should be connected to?

I believe it's your fuel vapor capture hose.
