Seat removal
I was hoping someone could shed some light on how to remove seats from a '65 Ghia coupe?

Sit in the seat...reach down by your right leg and lift the lever to move the seat.
Push the seat all the forward until your chest hits the sterring wheel.
Get in the back seat and give the seat a shove with you feet and the seat should come off of the rails.

You may have to really kick the heck out of it to make it move forward , be sure to kick both sides equally or it'll jamb , sometimes the adjuster lever slips back to the lock position , have a helper reach over from the OPPOSITE side around in FRONT of the gearshift and hold it up - the seat ofttimes comes loose violently and you can sprain the helpers wrist quite easily - also , when popping loose highback seats be very carefull the headrest doesn't hit the windshield and crack it . clean the tracks really well and grease well before replacing the seat and it'll adjust smooth a silk for several years .

On a different note: This is the only site that anyone has bothered to reply and for that I thank you.
