Anyone notice the visual details of the new EMPI D Series carbs?

I've been saying for years how stupid I thought it was that they copied the inferior Weber IDF and ignored the superior other Italian carb maker.
Who's gonna be the first to try them out?

With EMPI I'm sure this will drag Dellorto into becoming the inferior Italian maker.
Didn't that company also once tout a center mount kadron kit that they later admitted "never actually tried" themselves?
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
