I have re-read this Guide on LCA the other day.

It has a lot of indirect info on cams of which some is redundant. Is his point supposed to be he is looking at LCA as if it was camshaft phasing with the crank? Instead of indexing the cam ,he indexes the LCA? Am I missing the point?
