Hi everyone,
I bought this crank with a lot of parts and I don't know what brand it is, can anyone help me?
Stroke is 86mm, has a type 4 main. and flywheel has 6 bolts and 6 dowels.
If anyone identifies that crank, would it be better than a fresh DPR machine made 86mm wedgemated crank?
Thank you
Which crank is it? Is it better than a wedgemated DPR?

Requires machining of the case to fit, but I'd say its way better. Wedgemating is just a way to keep the flywheel attached while using the standard diameter vw blessed us with, you do also get to use standard vw bearings, vs the t4 or bmw and creative thrust plates and such. Everything made now a days is flanged. Its probably a Bugpack, which from what I've heard is just fine. Scat usually stamps their name in their cranks, it would be pretty obvious if it was a scat.

ok thank you. I couldn't find anything about bugcraft.
I have the matching case, machined down on 2 mains it seems.

I agree probably a bugpack, scat normally puts a full circle oil groove on the crank mains
