New clutch cable in a '64 bug seems too short, I had to move the clutch lever on trans forward in order to get wing nut started. Motor is still not in. Will creating more sag in the bowden tube affect this? Also where do you measure the bowden tube sag? Is it the whole tube or in the lower portion right where it exits the clutch cable tube? Would this affect the cable length?
Thanks
