Bolts and lock bolts selection

Post by Teo1303 »

Hello there ,

I am an owner of a 1303 beetle that nowadays is being under restoration ...
I have bought Porsche rims 15'' (cookie cutters) which have different sizes in width (6'' front and 7'' rear)
I need to buy new bolts ( radius ) 14x1.5 but I don't know how long must bolts be ... Shall be 35mm, 40mm, 50mm???

My front brakes are from CSP shop (498 499 4130Lx) which have been drilled with 5x130 pattern
The rear brakes will be new with the Porsche pattern
So I need 16 bolts for all wheels + 4 lock bolts (1 per wheel) for safety
The front rim's offset is 36 and for rear  is 23
Shall I need spacers for my front wheels or not???
My tyres will be 185/65/ R15 H (front) and 205/60/ R15 H (rear)
Will you please help me which bolts (length in mm) must be purchased???

Don't use bolts, use studs and lug nuts.
For your Porsche wheels (including Fuchs), you need 30mm of stud sticking out from the rotor. Measure the thickness of your rotor and add that to 30mm, then you have the right length of stud. The thickness of the stud's head isn't included in the measurement.
