As long as your not going offload you have a very clean installation. Add some fins on the tube and you might get some addn'l heat disapation if it turns out that you need it.

What gauge of stainless 1.5" pipe should you use for under the car ? 14 gauge?

I did find this and some other comments on SS/CRES cooling lines. They also talked about SS braided lines also but I am not what you could call a big fan of braided lines as the small pieces of SS in the braiding can fracture from "worrying" (flexing too much) and fracture and either weaken the lines or mess you skin up if you contact it. Good for show, not so good for work.
