No, no word on them yet. Gonna call ACL again Thursday and see if there shipment came in yet. And yes, let's keep praying for the box to stay together. How's the Volvo? And why is there still no burnout video?
How come? Do a lot of guys do this with this type of motor?
Yeah, it's common practice on this engine when installing forged pistons. The theory is that since forged pistons expand, cooling the piston with oil is counter productive, as well as the boost in oil volume is a big plus for looser bearings and higher revs.

But what's common practice on a K20 when used in a Bug? You should probably do whatever all those guys are doing.
Well, there aren't any solid updates as of yet. I have finished the new motor. It's basically a stock motor with Eagle rods and JE pistons.
I sold the 002 Bus Box knowing it won't handle the new found power for very long, which is were the project is on hold. I have a new tranny but have to make it fit. Got a 2000 Porsche 911 6-speed box I'm going to fit, but needing the help of Roachghia and his CAD experience. Hopefully will have things going within the next few months.
The radiator is just a universal circle track unit made by Griffin. I don't recall the demension though.
