Spent yesterday afternoon trying to get the motor in and i cannot for the life of me get it seated.
I pushed, pulled, wiggled and shimmied but no luck so far.
I put the long stud in the wrong hole thinking i could cinch it up from there but the opposite corner still wouldn't come together.
To confirm, I bought a 200mm Kennedy kit and am using a 200mm clutch going in a '69 type 1
The pressure plate is used so there is no collar on it but there is the small sleeve on the throwout bearing that could be holding me up.
Am i just misaligned? anyone have this happen?
Any help would be very appreciated, engine hoist needs to go back to my friend this weekend so I need to get her on there.
thanks

Re: HELP (Kennedy EJ mounting issues)
Disregard,
The friction disk was somehow misaligned enough to not slide onto the trans input shaft. got it bolted up and mods can delete this
