What cc''s are those pistons? Looks like you're going to make a high compression motor. What heads?

The compression would come out to 9:1 with ej257 heads.billz60vw wrote:What cc''s are those pistons? Looks like you're going to make a high compression motor. What heads?
I dont have the printout of the pistons with all the details on me.
I might be using a different comp ratio As that all can change with head gasket thickness, mods to combustion chamber.
I dont have 257 heads currently but do have 20k's and 205's laying around. Might end up using one of those but thats still all up in the air.

That sounds good just make sure you work the combustion chambers and don't try changing compression with head gasket thickness or you will run in to problems/small window with detonation.

If you didn't know already use the 20k heads!!!don't bother with the 205's.they are prone to crack between spark plug and valve..
