3 rotror mazda

Post by effvee »

Hi, does any one know the length of a 3 rotor, I would like to possibly do one in my 1303. I had a 2332 type I and in the Cucamonga area any idle time and it ran hot. So since I need to rethink this, might as well go for big horsepower. Any feedback would be great, oh yeah where can I get parts lightend for the mazda rotary, I have herd of racing beat, any one else. I see alot of Japan rotary sites and tech stuff, but no where to get parts or e-mail questions.

Big thanks :?:

a 3 rotor is a fairly long engine, I don't think that it is going to fit in a bug, unless it is a baja.

Why go 3-rotor? a stock fd13b turbo motor will push 450+hp with bigger injectors and an aftermarket computer. It will also fit under a decklid, while being a hell-of a lot cheaper than a 3-rotor.

Racing beat is probably the best known rotary builder, but check out the links on this page http://frost.bbboy.net/vwengineconversi ... 5&thread=2 for more engine builders. Most of these places will lighten and clearance rotors.
