I think you could gain some snap by puling that map back a little, your curve in the low map seems really drawn out. Although I do see you added the timing at the top and I am assuming that was to help when you wooded it from low rpm (but you don't do that right )

Ok so 14 hour days and working weekends leaves me no time to play....
So, over the last few weeks I only was able to get my side access hole fully cut, cleaned up, mocked up and ready to weld. I'll get the other side done, then weld them both at the same time... (I hope.)
So for the fuel rail hitting I plan to also cut my fender in the same place that it overlaps with the current cut out. Then I am going to put some rubber between the fender bolts and the bolts/access panel.
I've denoted that in one of the images below with where the rubber will go.

The panels are called HiPacs, Shipped here to California, I think the cost was about 128$, He is in the UK.
I can't rant enough about them they are really an excellent product!. If anyone has dual carbs / throttle bodies, or you just want to change spark plugs easier
Get this! well worth it.
so some details on the panels...
The panel itself (not shown) is a nice gauge stainless steel,
The frame is about 1/8th thick with holes drilled and tapped. It also
came with some nice SS screws

Ok I've totally been slacking at updating my build here.
Few new things,
725cc Injectors are in.
shes running great. Duty cycle now maxes around 14.
installed cb oil filler breather
did wiring on new tail lights, weather pack connectors all the pretty ness.
rebuilt pedal assembly, installed extended clutch shaft, big foot pedal.
heck here are some pictures and videos
oh also I now have a new fuel map and ignition map no pictures of that right now
lets just say my previous ignition map was pretty far off.

I had a similar situation. I reduced my fuel pressure from 40 lbs to 30, causing the injectors to flow less for each ms of open time. This had the effect of making the injectors act "smaller", forcing my VE table values to go up and making each VE cell step less significant resulting in greater tuning granularity. My AFR traces got more stable and repeatable.

Also I haven't strapped on my turbo, and I eventually plan to build a 78x94 engine.
A little history, my old injectors were "maxing" out, (hehe I know lame pun) so I couldn't get the tune correct.
Oh and I plan to go E85 sometime in the future.

Ah! Disregard my previous statement. The max duty-cycle is meaningless as a sizing metric if there's no load on the engine.volksbugly wrote:Here are my current tables.

I was a little worried about the injector discussion ... I just changed my plans around to include some new injectors. Stock from an Evo ... 560cc. =) I'm running E85 and I don't expect IDC%s to go over 40%.

I just wanted to update everyone on this.. I got a taste of EFI and its awesome ness!... so of course I followed suit like many others...
Pulling out this engine, new engine being built:
specs:
2109cc 76mm x 94mm
tcs-20 engle cam
4340 crankshaft -bugpak
4340 H rods - cb performance
Mahle 94mm pistons
DRD L5 Turbo heads
cb performance hideaway turbo header 1 5/8
1 5/8 Heater boxes
T3/4b S trim with stg2 wheel and .48 a/r exhaust housing
Meth Injection
New things that I am going to install on this motor that I currently am not running
electronic fuel pressure sensor
fuel octane sensor
egt sensors 1 per cylinder
knock sensor
What I currently need to acquire:
cb header, positive side piping for dual carbs
have someone make the dump pipe / muffler setup -I'm thinking of possibly running it out the side like the g-down exhaust
waste gate
bov
electronic boost controller
