I had 44 itbs on my 1600 when I switched to ITB mode I liked it alot. I had better pedal resolution.

Because ITB's have poor vacuum as the throttle opens, it's difficult for the ECU to calculate load in Speed-Density mode. What ITB mode does is it tells the ECU to switch from Speed-Density to Alpha-N when the MAP rises above a certain percentage of barometric pressure and you are also above a certain throttle percentage. This allows it sense load with MAP at low throttle openings for good drivability but still be drivable at large throttle openings when MAP is unreliable.emerald wrote:can some one let me know what the hell ITB mode is .I have tuned lots of make"s of cars and i am yet to see this ITB mode ??? ITB Mode is function in the Megasquirt ecus, which models has it etc I'm not the right person to say. Pile will know.
