Does anyone know of a low cost alternative to buying the Bently "official Factory Service manual" to find out operating procedures for the Ross tools VAG 1551 emulator. I have a 99 Jetta A3. I allready have a Bently just plain "service manual" and it doesnt have much on the scan tool.
I am trying not to spend another $100
Thanks

Tell me more about this "Ross tools VAG 1551 emulator". Where did you get it? How much? What does it do?
Doesn't the supplier have any info?
Thanks

www.ross-tech.com. It costs 100 bucks for the software and 100 bucks for the interface. you need a computer with a serial port. pretty cool.

Good luck finding any type of correct info on the newer vw's, I have a Baum scan tool, and I have very little info from Baum tools about using there scanner, and Volkswagon doesn't hardly give out any info on there new stuff, to repair there cars.
