1970 Fastback to Porsche conversion

I was looking into swapping my current 1600 to a Porsche set up. Has anyone on here done that and if so any pointers???

4 or 6 cyl? Both have been done. 4 is easy, 6 involves quite a bit of work.

Well I was wanting to change engine as well as drive train. Personally I just think mine is a bit slugish...I was driving a Subaru for a long time before I started drivin my FB again so Im leaning towards the 6 since I feel the need for the power

But I can't afford to have it off the road for too long...just lookin where I should start to begin this project.

Oh and if you have any links to the conversions that have been done on a Fastback that would be cool as I haven't found any...so far...
