Are the hubs 944? Do you have any pics of the backside and how you mounted the calipers?

yes the hubs are 944... the rotors are from a 993 got a good deal on a set of front and rear . the only problem with the front one are. That they are 32mm thick. SO being they need to be resurfaced anyways had them turned down to 28mm and they slip in to the calipers now... I will take some more pics soon... still working on the caliper mounting. looks like i just have to relocate one mounting tab or weld on a extra mounting tab to mount the calipers. As soon as i get it done i will add more pic. of how i mounted them. right now i making sure i do not run into clearance issue with my wheels look like the calipers are going to be close.

made the mounting bracket for the calipers today. I cut the mounting tabs off a set of 944 spindles trimmed them up and welding them to my stock typ3 spindles. test fitting everything on one side today...

Looks good. 8)

Here's how I did mine..

Turned down a pair of old, stock discs - turned the disc-part down, so I basically had the hub only. So standard bearings could be used.

Then used 944 Turbo rear discs. As far as I recall they are 295x20,4 mm, and they slide right over the homemade hub.

Then I used the original upper caliper bolt hole, and moved the lower one a bit. I used the 72-> spindles for this, as the bolt spacing is the biggest.

Works like a charm!
