Dude.....I wish....

Momma is due with #2 right around end of June/ beg of July....

So.....this may be my long term summer project... :D

Once this got underway I also decided to pull the motor to sort out some issues.....

Long story - but (from the archives) this motor still has a Mark Stephens crank and heads on it and well as some sundry and other wierdness....

Needless to say - the motor will get freshened up once the brakes/wheels/tires are sorted.

I'll keep posting updates as they happen !

Not fooling anyone here. The mounts and adapters are all Lanner.

Glad to see others trying this ..... I'm almost done with the same mod. Just need to finnish the narrowing of the trailling arms to fit the fatty wheels without flairing.

Everything is here.
I'm waiting on 2 tiny parts that Lanner had to fab up for me - then I'll have all brakes bolted up and ready to go.

Upon initial fit I found that the Boxter rims were interfering with the Brembo's - so I ended up with a set of 4mm spacers.

Once everything is bolted together I'm going to order (2) 195/50's and have them mounted and test fit them front and rear. If they clear nicely in the rear I may go with 195/55's back there....

4mm spacers needed front and rear as the rims were hitting the calipers:

I put it all together and dropped it on the ground today...first time the car has been on 4 wheels on cement in 3 years !

Still need to bleed the brakes etc etc....but it was exciting to see everything fit.

The "bling-ish-ness" of the chromed rims seems to have been tamed down with the tires on and and the chrome trim on the car.
