The biggest thing that will kill a setup on a mild DD is a TB that is way too big.
...or too much cam, esp with a too low for the cam CR.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Other factors like volume, shape, etc are typically only factors that you will see minor differences on a dyno. TB size is HUGE (huge being bad usually) as is CR (too little = bad).

My ITBs on my Square are too big for the 2056cc and it shows in the tuneability but the 2056cc is a stop-gap. They are a better match for the 2316cc which is what I bought them for.
