Here in the UK I'm looking at getting one of these made. You can probably get these sourced state side but thought I would share the details just incase. The company will ship worldwide apparently.

That's because no type 3 lunatic has ever approached them yet, hence why they're not listing them. I imagine after I get mine they will list them and no doubt at half the price.

£320+VAT @20% currently. Still been quoted £260+VAT for a non heated screen from another supplier, so it's a no brainier really.

~$500 for a std type 3 windshield is nuts, for the heated version maybe.
Is it heat traces or resistive film?

I believe it would be heat traces like what you get in a ford. Not too sure. Will find out though as I have to take a screen to them as a template.

Type 3 wind screens are abit of a rare unicorn to get hold of. Either I buy a used one which could be worse then my current one or just suck on it and pay the commanded price. Compared to the beetle one at £180
