Speedo delema

I have a small problem that i need help with. I dropped my bug using cb drop spindels. after installing them i realized that there is no provision for the speedo cable, not that it would fit because of the arms arms are in the way. what did you guys do for a speedo after doing this. I have a cool 914 speedo I would like to keep. any ideas.

Strange, I installed CB drop spindles on my 68 and it still had a speedo cable...
Check the US driver side spindle?
If RHD you may need to make up a custom cable, if rhd setup uses the r side spindle..

i ve decieded to just use the speedo down load on my cell until I can figure this out. thanks

I have seen GPS speedometers for such things as marine applications.
