I am currently upgrading the seats of my 1972 Ghia with Konig Recaro style seats. The rail adaptor has 4 mounting points. I plan on not using the stock location as l originally planned, due to the fact that I want to sale the stock seats complete. That size bolt and washer is recomended to bolt the rail adaptor to the pan?
Thanks in advanced.

What bolts and washers to use for seat rail installation?

Ghia rails were all welded to the pan.
If you bought an adapter for your new seats, that will use bolts, no one could know the size that you need. Look at the hole in the adapter and get the largest diameter possible I suppose. Use large washers to help keep it in place.
I would recommend plates instead of just large washers though. Like these

They are supposed to be harder to pull through the sheetmetal.
Good luck.
