Ghia seats in a '69 Bug?

Ghia seats in a '69 Bug?

Will stock Ghia seats fit onto stock rails in '69 bug? I cam across a pair cheap, and in good condition, any mods to make them fit? The rails look a little wider, anyone have any experience?

Short answer is no, base is too wide for a narrow bug body and too short,
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
