I was able to re-register and transfer the titles on four vehicles in about 30 minutes. All for less than $500 total. The four license plates are actually sequential as well. My truck was going to be over $500 in registration alone, plus smog test costs. No more smog tests on any of our vehicles. Loving this place so far!

I found another guy with a baja very close to the new place. He has an A-arm baja that looks pretty well set up in pictures. I am going to meet up with him this weekend over some trail maps and line up a run into the BLM land to the east of the valley. I am getting itchy and want to drive it again! It's been a while, so when the weather clears in another day or two I will run it around on the streets to get my fix. I have already contacted Matt that posted on here a few pages ago, so hopefully he has a running car.

I met this guy for lunch the other day. Turns out he lives 2-3 miles away from our new place. Still trying to get the schedules to align to meet Matt Wright (posted on here a couple pages back). I have a nice looking loop over the Pine Nut Mountains laid out already, but we need to time it with the weather. Apparently it changes pretty quickly up here in the spring. Wind gusts up to 70 mph today, and 1-3" of snow on the valley floors tomorrow.

Very Nice Baja for an a-arm car.

I like a-arms, but I'm philosophically opposed to them on Bajas. Sort of the "If you didn't want a Bug, why did you build a Baja?

To each their own, Dusty. I hear what you're saying, but I am not much of a baja purist myself after going water cooled.

I finally got my 220v circuit put in my garage, which means I can weld again! YAY! First job is to start scouring the car for cracks or breaks. I already know the source of a couple rattles whose days are numbered. :)

Here is an update on my shop. We broke ground on Jan. 8, and I am amazed at the progress they have made in between weather events. The interior has been drywalled, and they are spraying the texture today. Electrical is not finished yet, and the roll up doors still need to be put in. Can't wait to move the baja into it's new home!!

Hey Skid nice looking garage project. Looks bigger and better than my house! I'm not kidding its true. Anyway a detached garage project is a goal of mine also so I will be watching your progress.

In my case, garage must be bigger and better than my own house. Not a lofty goal!
