Here's the GF's '74 Super. And my non-ACVW, non-off-road '84 GTI. And of course the off-road-ready '04 Yellow Lab .

'67 European spec Beetle.
Just turned 80K miles.
Little OT but I wish I had this one back.
67 Drag Bug.
Went from me to Ohio, to San Antonio Tx, to Oregon.
Never got any pics of it but found this one on TOS a few years ago.

Track? we have hundreds of miles of trails. I guess you could call the roads they race motorcycles on a track. There is a 100 mile off road motorcycle race that passes behind my house once a year.DeMinimis wrote:Theo, where's the dirt bike track?.....And the invite!
Where you at DeMin? I'm near Reno, Nv.
Right now my only off road ride is my 61 single cab.

I'm up in Oregon, but you're only 8-10 hrs away. Love that Reno area. My Chenowth came from a place about 30 miles N of Reno.

3.5 hrs from Boise puts you fully on the dry side. I thought you were a wet sider? I spent a lot of my youth in Powell Butte. I have family in Bend and in south-west Redmond overlooking the gorge.
No other ACVW's here, just the Baja project.

Very dry. I call our place "Brown Acres." Two hours directly north of Bend, on the OR/WA border. Probably more like 4hrs to Boise, now that I think about it. Water water everywhere and none to irrigate:

Turbo, that '67 is sweet. My buddy has a gorgeous '67. Someday, oh yes, someday it will be mine.

Yup Turbo. Washington on the left, Oregon on the right. This was our last time out on a rare windless evening (late Sept- I launch on the John Day River and if its not nuke'n on the Mighty Columbia, then we'll head out there -Not me in the pic but a deputy I taught to wake surf).
