Re: TMM 2.1
I say no, only because I really like the looks of the Methods without a colored ring. The concept of a red ring on that car is good for me, just not on that wheel.
Just my opinion....but then again you asked.

could you photo shop it to show the red wheels? Cheaper than changing their color then not liking it.Turbo_Manx_Maniac wrote:Should I make the beadlocks Red?

Not the wheels, just the beadlocks.
Tending to not do it, just because they don't leak now.

What do you think about using red bolts to hold the beadlocks on?

I think that is pretty smart logic! One other option would be anodizing them red but as you say, taking them off long enough to anodize them could be the kiss of death .Turbo_Manx_Maniac wrote:Ol'fogasaurus wrote:could you photo shop it to show the red wheels? Personally, the red bead lock I have less problems with color wise; I think it would look better than full red rims.
I can remember back when, before black, red was the color with or without full size hubcaps and with wide white walls; and that was on the road only too. It was the thin red ring around the edge of the hub cap they were after... and this was it even back in the early to mid-50s. I liked black better even though I fall in step with red rims on one car (I was disgusted with myself too ).

They'd look good in red with the whole rig all shined up. But with a load of trail dust and rock chips those rings might not look so good. I think it looks great as is, personally. Maybe try white rings

That is going to look distracting like an out of balance wheel or it might attract a cougar looking to play with something and piss him off as he/she couldn't quite catch you... don't stop to take a picture if that happens.Turbo_Manx_Maniac wrote:What do you think about red valve stem covers?Getrdone wrote:No
A chrome valve stem might be closer to the polished AL wheel.
