Re: Motorbreath's Chenowth 2 Seat Play Car
Well... we're mocked up...
Apparently this poor little Class 10 car chassis was not meant for such a "behemoth" of a transaxle... Good thing i'm not trying to fit in a Fortin or somthing...
To keep my CV angles happy, put the shift rod in a nice spot, keep the weight of the motor as low as possible and not lose any wheel travel i'm having to drop my transaxle about an inch below the bottom tubes of the chassis. I could redo the bottom "frame horns" on the chassis, but then new bumper etc etc...
If only I knew someone with a monster of a metal brake that would be willing to help me bend up a proper skid plate to cover it back up....

That'll look nice! FWIW, I was jokingly referring to the A-arms. When I first did my A-arm conversion, I took the rail to the dunes the entire first season with the front end, all of it, unpainted. I used to tell people not to lean on it because the welds might still be hot.

Damn I didn't finish this story!?
So, that LS2 2 seater was friggun AWESOME. Absolutely rediculous fast. By far the fastest thing ive ever driven. I had no interest in selling it... until my family grew. I knew from the start that I would need a bigger car at some point... and with my second daughter due at the beginning of last season I knew it was time.
Not 100% this link will work... but heres the only video I know of running with the LS2.
