Topic of the Day...

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

The 300 cu in in-line 6 was a heck of an engine; they were even using it to drag race with. If I remember correctly there was a period of time when they cut one cylinder off each of a pair of certain V8 heads and attached them to the top of the 300 incher. The big deal on the 200 cu in in-line 6 was to find some very rare here Australian cross-flow heads. GM had a couple of good in-lines with the GMC probably being the best of them especially with the Wayne 12 port (cross-flow) head. I started out playing with Chev in-line 6s.

Remember, one never know what is going to happen so be ahead of the game.

I love that motor. Good amount of power not too bad gas mileage considering. Reliable. One of the major reasons I got this truck.

Wow!!! Good for you.

My son Warren Parcells will be co-driving in a 5-1600 Baja Bug. Mark Winston is the Owner/driver of Record. Bright green. Warren is 5'11", 200lbs, dark hair and short beard.
I'm not sure where he's staying yet.

Whose TT?

Yup....typical last minute deal for the Mint, like always for me. LOL

JT and I will be pitting for 2016 Mint-400 winner John Willard in the orange 5014 class-5 unlimited.

Not going to make it down for qualifying this year but we will be hanging out on Freemont all day Friday and probably in the main pit Sat.
