Just celebrated the 15th anniversary of my 40th birthday, so I guess I'm part of the antiques on here...

I don't know if I should feel old and decrepit or aged like a fine wine. So far I am third oldest checking in behind Lee and Doc.

Just so it isn't like fine whine your OK .
I've been asked more than a few times why, at my age, I keep working on the buggy; I tell them it keeps my mind, my body and what few skills I have active plus I am still learning things and how to do stuff. My wife asked me why the other day and when I told her about it keeping my mind active she let the complaint about the buggy drop.
I read a lot too: I just finished reading a 28 book series and now starting on re-reading another series; both are historical fiction. I just learned a new (very old) symbol... d°. The symbol means "ditto" as I agree or 'just like the previous thing said'. An example: Yesterday was wet and cold, today d°.

I don't think I qualify as an antique, I am 31 and have been a member here for 10 years though I don't post here I do in the bus barn and do read here a lot.

Chip great to have you here. Starting to think all the young guys weren’t interested in this anymore.Chip Birks wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 6:27 am 32 here. Had a username here for 10 years, lurked for years prior to that.

60 years young, but my body keeps arguing on the "young" part...
"Your car sounds angry, and it wants to go fast all the time..."
(quote from my daughter, after driving my car)
It's not complicated, it's just expensive...

Yeah, memory (what I could do) and ego (you can do that and much more) are seemingly always at odds with each other aren't they. Ego seems to lose most of the time or it's "win" is just temporary. (Bwahahaha! )

That should make one younger wouldn’t it? Speaking of which, looks like I am getting another one added to the inventory. Good grief.CentralWAbaja wrote: ↑Sun Sep 23, 2018 12:15 pmmaybe we should ask about artificial parts installed.....
