1641ccm, turbo, E85, street driven. I have changed the intake system from using original VW castings and a single TB to the new VWSpeedshop manifolds and a home made 3" plenum design with a intercooler. Total volume of the plenum is 140% of the engine and it will be interesting to see the effect on the dyno. Inside the T section there is a nice splitter for keeping the air speed. Everything fits under a closed lid. I did argue with myselves if I should polish the aluminium or get it powder black. Polished now, black later.... I think.

Thanks guys!

The cooler is one of the new 5" - 600hp - 1100cfm barrels from PWR. It looks really nice. The header is a custom 1 5/8" and I believe I have posted some pictures of it here on shoptalk. T4 flange and a custom Precision 5862 turbo. The engine produced 311 whp at 24 psi with the old set up/original intakes and without intercooler. I have since then increased the boost quite a bit.

A few turbo rides from the 22nd Annual Great Canadian VW show last weekend. Looks like I can only post 2 pics per post now for some reason...

This bad boy is a Hilborn Alki injected 2442 that runs low 10's in the 130mph range. Very cool guy owns/built the car and we chatted for a bit.

I should have taken more pictures of this Ghia. Best in show contender to say the least. Complete show car, doesn't "look" like it gets driven. Big late Porsche wheels, beautifully detailed turbo EFI engine, complete custom stereo...full on show car  .

Kinda of an odd combo, but a very clean car none the less.

This monster was built with all "VW" parts. Massively lifted Bus suspension/trans, and turbo diesel engine. 35" tires I think. Had ground clearance for days!
