What did you do to your turbo today?

With Turbo and Super charging you can create massive horsepower with vw motors.

Well my welding does suck but it was also the Migs fault. I should have checked when i bought it.
There was no o-ring on the gas supply line and i was getting minimal shielding gas on my arc.
So today i replaced the nosle and the shroud and i repaired themmig torch.
To top that off i ground my weldings down from my frankestein manifold and prepared them for proper welding this time around.
My welding sucks .

Stock or built unit? I broke my stock unit back in November and am looking forward to being back on the road in the next couple of weeks with all of the new upgrades.

Mildly built transaxle, with stock axles..... After 20 years of abuse the spade broke off the lhs axle... It was bound to happen eventually.

Yep.... I'm building a new pan for it now.... The axle that is broken is on my old type 1 transaxle.
The new transaxle setup should be plenty tough enough.

No I'm buying it on payments. I might be there with it NA...still pretty snappy in 1st and 2nd with the FK-45 112 LC, but 3rd and 4th gears are boring.
