Don't have a pic right now, just changed to an aeromotive regulator because I thought my old one was faulty. I have the pump mounted on pan under tank. Then pump feeds fuel filter, injectors, regulator, and returns to tank via stock fuel line in tunnel.

The thread above is an older one but the vacuum nipple is worth looking into. Could be a possibility and is causing a different problem for you. Does the gauge come with the regulator or are you using a separate one?

Hey guys first time posting on STF, I'll probably start a thread on my build but for now need some help with a problem.

Working on a home-brew draw through for my 1600, problem is the wastegate flange on my header is very close to the apron and I don't have enough space for the wastegate to bolt to the flange. Any suggestions other than attempting to weld the hole up and putting the flange somewhere else?

Here are a few pictures of how close the flange is to my rear apron/ the wastegate not being able to bolt on due to hitting apron.
Wastegate in question is a Tial 38mm.
I'm not a very good welder yet so excuse the poor welds.

Thanks
Paul

Car backtogther and went for a 80 mile cruise. All was well but when I got close to home. Rattle Rattle Rattel. Turbo broke. Oil feed line clogged up.

Just a warning to everyone, use a in line filter! This one just cost me a grand. Wish now I would have just used one of my journal bearing turbos. I'm stuck now as this one is V band inlet flanged.

That is the 1st time I've ever seen anyone mention a filter inline with the turbo oil feed line. What sort of filter do you have in mind?

Like these. http://store.forcedperformance.net/PROD ... ilter.html
More needed on a ball bearing turbo as the oil inlet hole is only .030 big so only takes a tiny piece to clog it.

Shag,

Did you find the debris? 0.030" doesn't take much to plug up. That is an expensive lesson. Are you going to have it up and running for bugorama next weekend?

No debris. Oil flowing. Ball bearing just exploded. Need to send it out. No Bugo! I'll be spectating.

This was my problem at the track Friday night.
