With Turbo and Super charging you can create massive horsepower with vw motors.

Hi Pile.
Well the ignition is only points and a standard coil. Plugs gapped at 28
Your probably gunna say WTF. Points and a standard coil. I went this basic to check the petronix 3 wasn't causing me big back fire issues. Well it was the module at fault. The points have been in there ever since. It works good really , Its just I cant carry on tuning more boost into it to get more power. It just starts doing this SOFT miss thing Like as if the spark gets weak and gives up at 1 bar/ high revs.

I'm not up on the distributor less ignition systems yet.

Try gapping at .024

Just a quick question.
Were are you getting the signal from for the dump valve.

Correct.

Is it allowed to use the same vacuum port for the BOV/gauge/Brakebooster?

Fuelpress and wastegate from turbo..

Any pics of your engine?

HI Udo.
I'm using Just the Bov and gauge off a 3mm barbed fitting that's threaded into number 4 manifold. I don't have power brakes, just 4 wheel disc.
There is a pic on here somewhere.
look on late bay site, VW services section ,title is Bamber Bridge Beetles.
SU carb replaced with Dual Dells. Reason being Blow through dells are a challenge I want to conquer
Is yours on the road yet.

Here's a thought. Last time I had the dells working in blow through mode I was increasing the boost for more power, last high boost drive flooded the left carb badly making me think id damaged it. My fuel pressure increases with increased boost pressure. I think the extra fuel pressure due to me increasing the boost from the turbo did something to the float which flooded the engine knocking 2 cylinders out. This time I'm thinking of using a lower boost signal from the back of the turbo hat instead of direct from the turbo.
