Cb are nice. Scat too. Just be prepared for more than the 1.4 advertised ratio. My CBs were around 1.5:1.

If I end up going with the Web 86A that should be no problem. I can't imagine a little more lift being a bad thing. It has a .502 lift with a 1.5 ratio.

My CB 1.4s with the 86a cam measured out at an exact 1.4

AA 80mm crank, AA 5.4 h beam rods, AA 90.5 b pistons, AA 500 40x35.5 heads, web 86a cam, cb 1.4s, cb HD aluminum p/r's, 26mm cb oil pump, silverline main and rod bearings, mahle double thrust cam bearings, helical cut cam gears, AA 1.5 sidewinder style exhaust. Serpentine pulley cut for hidden crank trigger by Mario at the dub shop. I plan on throwing some boost at it so went with 8.45-1 comp. Ratio slightly less than web calls for and that's with a .042 deck

Sounds pretty close to what I'm doing. I will have a bit less compression (7.5-8:1) and I'm using chromoly pushrods. I will probably have a bit more deck too depending on how it all comes out.

Luckily for me I had +.007 deck with no shims so I just needed the correct amount of shims to get my deck correct. I believe I have 62cc combustion chambers in my aa heads but its always wise to measure everything no matter what is advertised.

Yeah I'm planning to get my Panchitos with 68cc chambers so I don't have to go too crazy with the deck to get my compression where I want it.

Excellent, I think the next pair of heads I get will be some panchitos I checked a pair out when I was at Mario's and you definitely get what you pay for. I would be miles ahead if I would have spent the money beforehand, but for the money I still dig em. :)

Yeah boost seems to be a good equalizer.

Ok since I'm getting a bunch of stuff from CB do I want one of those Maxi oil pumps with the in/out on it , or should I just get a regular one? Probably sticking with 26mm.

You gonna feed a turbo and external oil cooler? I've never used the in/out type, I always just full flow my cases. I run 30mm pumps, but also have lots of oil line, a big cooler and thermostat and filter in my system.

I don't have an oil cooler at the moment. But I did tap the case for full flow. Didn't know if that Maxi would be simpler?

I plugged your numbers into the engine calculator and I come up with 9.0:1 compression if you use the CNC 61cc panchitos with a 82X94 and .050 deck.

Why would you want to have to hog out the chambers to 68cc's??

If you use a Webcam 86B or similar with a little duration you will be just about perfect.

Don't make your engine a dog off boost with 7.5:1 compression.
