Easiest way to full flow is use a cbperf in/out maxi pump, otherwise tap and plug the pump, case /pump outlet and the plug on the rear of the case main gallery. Pump in out gets 1/4"npt,rear of case is 3/8"npt

Nice I've never seen those. That would be a ton easier! Looks like your supposed to pull the gallery plugs to clean in there anyway though?
Here is a good how-to:

Any oil pump can do it. You just plug the outlet on the pump, and the corresponding inlet on the case. They will both tap with a 1/4npt without drilling. I use an interrupted tap for best results. And then there is the big one on the front of the case. That one is typically tapped with a 3/8npt. But there if you only drill and tap, you won't have room to put in the traditional 3/8 pipe m to 3/8 pipe f 90 fitting that is used. You will have to clearance a little to the side of the tapped hole. There is just a sticking out section of case that needs some reshaping. You can't remove it, as I think its also an oil galley, but you can thin the wall quite a bit. The typical full flow tool cuts that while its also drilling the hole and facing the pad that you will be tapping.

Yeah I saw that. I'm not real sure where I would even put a filter. I guess I would have to watch and be sure it's not in the way of the header.
I will have to have a look. I don't even know what an interrupted tap is.

I don't care for the in& out pumps when it's so easy to tap and plug a case & pump do a 'search ' filter can be placed about anywhere

I'm planning to drill and tap to clean it anyway while I'm waiting for parts.

Damn it. That's priced right for sure. But puts me back to a tough spot trying to get it right.

Worked half a day today trying to save up a bit more for the build. Sure doesn't add up very quick! I've been trying not to dip into my regular pay since this is a toy I will only be using overtime money. Anyway. After work I drilled and pulled the oil gallery plugs so I can clean it a bit better and tap for full flow (and plugs). Also hadn't pulled the pressure relief valves out yet so I did that too. Those weren't easy to get off. I didn't have my impact driver at home so I just had to muscle it. Probably start boring the case and heads this week! Finally.

cool nerv wracking on first go round easy after you have done it once. The case I,m working on now has gotten piston squirters and will be using an accusump in case the pick up gets uncovered its for a off road car that see's extreme angles. I added the squirters as a pre turbo reincarnation of the car to help draw some heat off the pistons good luck brother

They make those relief piston thread plugs with allen heads on them for easier install and removal.....I think most online places carry them.
They make it a piece of cake....... I have them in my engine.

I like the idea of piston squirters on a turbo.
And I will definitely be looking for those allen head plugs. I have mine pretty jacked up now.

Maybe you guys know. I'd like to put a doghouse style fan shroud on my car that doesn't have the cut outs for heat. What would that be called? There are so many different ones I really don't know one from the other.

Beats me. Just a doghouse without the heat outlets
