It and its relatives can talk to an MS2E or MS3 over CAN, they can also talk to a set of Innovate LC2s etc over serial and forward the digital data.

A full on IOX can mount 8 14point7.com WBO2s and a full set of 8 EGT/CHT TC amps in a custom case.

Thanks for your input. I went with the Dakota gauge and am almost done fabricating the gauge mount. Since I was replacing the heads anyway I decided to do a bunch of things that were on the back burner including the head temp gauge and an innovate electronic boost programmer. Almost done.

im running a autometer one. cant recall where the senseor is mounted to

The exact location of the sensor makes a huge difference in readings, the "standard" CHT readings and suggested maximums imply a thermocouple under a spark plug. Anything else will provide different readings.

Thermistor based sensor can be as or more accurate, but are limited to ~150C, as thats all the PTC thermistors are rated to.

I run a digital CHT gauge from "The Sensor Connection" (http://thesensorconnection.com/egt-prob ... -series-ws). Very reasonably priced and a great, responsive unit. Options for spark plug sizes sensor ID, alarm capable and more. I have mine on cylinder #3 for obvious reasons and monitor it consistently as Im driving, especially under load. It is not unusual for me to be seeing 375-400 degree temps on climbs when there is load and boost abounding. Drops down after that once I am coasting/downshifted.

The Dakota CHT gauge is fitted into the pods I made for it and the electric boost controller. So far I am pretty impressed with the Dakota CHT gauge.
