I'm not sure a GT15 is much smaller than what I have.

There is a smaller GT12 as well but I'm sure that turbo will be boosting all the time?

I'm sure it would. I see guys using the GT15 on ATV's and jetskis. That's probably too small to make any real power on a bug. Surely a GT12 would be more for like a push lawn mower!

A GT15 can probably push a small motor to ~130HP, which would be ~2X stock.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

And it's more useable power as well no waiting for the boost to build. My mates 1600 is a lot faster in town traffic (light to light racing) than mine but once my turbo is spinning he has no charge. I spoke to him last night to ask him what his issues are with motorway driving and his reply was " my turbo set up was for a 1300 engine and it was fine in all driving conditions but since I increased the CC'S to a 1600 engine the turbo is boosting at 1-2 psi when sitting at 60-70 mph and my oil temperature goes through the roof so 50-55 mph is my max cruise speed. Im half way through fitting the T17 turbo witch should allow me to sit at 60 so I can finally drive the old girl to some shows. You sold that 66 Mustang yet Vinnie ? If not I know a buyer."

All good thanks mate. I'm regulating at 14 psi boost witch is nice with no spiking or over shooting with the boost. Running a little rich still with a reading of 10.7:1 @14 psi but crusing with a reading of 12.8:1

Not bad. Better than a little lean. I'd drive it like that for a little while and see how it feels all around.
