Re: 1641 Turbo EFI Manx. Gathering parts!
I only discovered that when i took the sideskirts off after 3months in my possesion.
Its a verry well built buggy. Not so sharp where the pan corners had to be stiched together but thats okay... strenght is in the tunnel and outer lines.
When i step into my buggy the pans dont move bend or flex. Verry rigid.
I think im good till whatever this future turbo 1600 will put out.
Hoping for 150hp to start at low boost.
Its torque im after!

Hi,
Took the buggy out for a drive today.
Didnt really notice anything different besides the car having a little more of a slight shake when ideling.
Think i have to re-adjust my shifter too.
When driving somewhat sporty its hard to downshift from 3rd to 2nd. Especialy when i'm getting into a turn.
1st gear is sometimes hard to get in.
Not problematic but not smooth like butter.
Greetz!

And some pics of my enginebuilders cars, the red one will be entering the budapest oldtimer rally and the black vert is his personal car.
He is building a 10k rpm engine!
Gonna be a mean machine!
The 365 is a full metal original 135k € car. He build an awesome engine and tranny for it.

Can someone show me how to secure the injector to the rail?
I have cb manifolds, cb rail and bosch injectors.
Also the U shape clip and the other injector clip seen in photo,
Does the injector needs to go as deep as possible in the rail? Till it cant go no deeper ?
My injectors have 2 grooves under the O ring.
One is full slotted all arround and the other one has a raised edge.
If i put the clip on the top groove its not pushed all the way in the injecor.
If i but it in the top one my 2 wire plug doesnt fit on the injector .
Get what i mean?

You can grind an angle on the ends of those fuel rails if you want to turn the injectors that way.
Mine just face toward the shroud.

No,
I would rather have them pointing towards the fan shroud.
Its in an open ended engine bay so it has to be clean! Acctually no engine bay
Would it really be nesecary to have those open ended brackets on there?
Would it be enough it i just put the u shaped bracket on there between the bottom of thefuel rail and the intake manifold?
