Well i think it just wasnt tight enough.
Its indeed a stock bug tank and in verry good shape.
I cleaned it last winter.
I probably didnt turn it hard enough, always scared to break threads....

Re: 1641 Turbo EFI Manx. Gathering parts!
Hi.
Toooooooo hot to do anything plus I have to go to work all weekend. Its gonna be a 65h week....
Ive been looking into the gen4 loom, trying to understand how its connected and read the wire diagram, it was clear after 1h of cursing. Now i get it.
Since they make every loom for what sensors are used the standard scematic is not complete. Thats why i wrote down some in/outputs
I even found out where i need to add connectors to add the W/M control.
I need to found out what kind of output i can use to controll the dual fans on the intercooler.
I sent cb a mail to explain to me how i need to wire it and program the controls in the ecu.
Sorry for the dirty looking photo's. My phone fell and the lens protector glass shattered...

Congrats on 65! Are you or when are you going to retire? I've been out (but not out of work... I'm married !) almost 18 years now. OMG, the "Honey-do List".
If your prepared it can be kind of a good life but not prepared, a lot of adapting has to be done.

Yeah, just 30.
Normally i have 50h work weeks. Average of 10h a day mon to friday.
Now there is a big festival in the first big town in my area. So we deliver restaurant supplies all weekend.
Im a truckdriver. To usa standards pretty small. Just an Iveco Eurocargo 12 ton truck. Its deep freez / refrigirated. 2 compartimens, one is -22° celcius and the other compartiment is 2° celcius.
I dont know how many hours a day you guys put in?

Well heck: congrats on making it to 30 anyway. That you made is this far and have a job makes it sounds like the first phase of your life is somewhat successful.
As I remember truckers do seem to work long hours and work a lot of overtime. Not sure if the pay is always there though.
Andy, I grew up in a Navy town and worked commercial aircraft as a draftsman/TD. I slip and post a lot of "forward" and "aft" plus "inboard" and "outboard". I try not to do the "port"/"larboard" and "starboard" thing but it drives my wife nuts when I use the "head" word .

Well, a standard work week here in belgium Europe is 38h.
I get a fixed hour pay plus some extra's, cell phone, company car (vw caddy) and some small others.
All the hours i put in extra are compensated for

I put in around 50-53 at 5 days a week. Anything over 40 hrs is 1.5 pay.
I have done as much as 70 hrs in a week but that gets old quick.

See that’s the bonus of hourly,
I get paid the same wether I’ve done a 5 day week or a 6 day week, 4 hr day or 24hr duty ect....
But we all fund our hobbies some how!
