My intercooler is in the engine bay. The radiator, fan and pump are under the parcel tray hanging next to the transaxle. Tank is behind the back seat in the parcel tray area.

Hmm i might need to give that a shot and see if my exchanger could fit next to the transaxle.

I have been tempted to run it up front to take advantage of all that free air. But i dont want it to be seen

My intercooler is sitting above the parcel tray. Tank is under the back seat opposite the battery. Heat exchanger is next to the torsion tube on drivers side. Pump is inside the tank.

I had a different radiator and fan next to the trans, but I couldn't get it to work properly. Constant issues with heat soak and air supply. The new radiator works a lot better, but it does hang a little low. I could have cut into the spare wheel well, but I haven't. Looks dead stock until you get the car up off the ground. On average, charge air is 15-20degC above ambient. So in a hot place like Aust, I'm pretty happy with it.

Let's just say I'm paranoid about the radiator getting hit. ;)

I had 81C / 177F intake temp with the last setup at the quarter mile mark, so every degree I can get it down gives a good amount of power gain.

Weight is not that relevant. A lot of power and torque on tap with the last setup :)

Lots of good ideas here, i currently run a radiator up front for my suby motor so room is limited in front of the beam.

Been tossing the idea around about putting a core next to the trans.

Guess we will see what happens once i put the body back on after i fix these rust problems
