Intercooler location in rear wing

With Turbo and Super charging you can create massive horsepower with vw motors.

Intercooler location in rear wing

I've been on here searching through a lot of threads and cannot find what I was looking for. I remember a few years ago somewhere on the net (probably this forum) there was a beetle turbo build thread and they had put an intercooler in one rear wing (vehicle wing not a spoiler) . There were vents at the front and back to allow airflow through the intercooler similar to a modern 911 setup. I would just like to see pictures or ideally a link to the thread.

I think he means fender...not a spoiler like Wally had.

Yes I did mean fender, sorry I'm from the UK :) . Although wallys idea is very neat
