The copperheads that Art was making I'm pretty sure are different. I believe those are long gone, and from what I heard they worked good too.
A stage 1 properly setup will hold anything at your current power level. I'd try something like a Daiken/Kush-Loc or similar. Stay away from the heavy sintered iron discs like the BM, they will kill syncros.

Johns is the same as Arts. The Diamondback is the one that is NLA.

It was pretty sweet. Sad its gone. I don't think it would have held with your setup though. It barely held with mine.

I was reading through Clones build and saw that he upgraded from the Stage 1 PP to the Stage 2 recently. Also read that he is getting some clutch chatter and has to work a little harder on the pedal.
Here's to progressing further into race bug status I guess...
Just really concerned about daily driving in traffic. Not the throw so much with the pedal, but with the clutch engagement.

I'm starting over with a whole new clutch package with the new motor. The stage 1 and 4 puck was good for 6.70's in an 1800 lb streetcar and about 400 whp but I dont think it would have a snowballs chance with the current combo.

I did this setup and it was too hard. it was on or off. Blew gears too. 3500.00 t1 set up trans rebuilt 2 or 3 times. I went to a stage 1 with a 6 puck. it has been good for a long time even at 25 lbs. I have 31" tires too.

I went with Chip's suggestion and ordered the Copperhead and Stg 2 PP. Should be here this weekend.

The stage 1 and 4 puck isn't for everyone, you have to have enough power to slip it at the hit.
Its an acquired taste to drive on the street. Also not all 4 pucks are made equal. I tried Scats and Bugpacks and neither would hold in 3rd or 4th but the Kennedys would hold under boost in the taller gears. Also keep in mind it made a very conservative 370 whp.
I have something completely different now, and its not a Rev6.

(butting in here... sorry) Whether you call it "riding the clutch", "slipping the clutch", "feathering the clutch' or any of the other myriad of terms for the same thing, what it comes down to is that the 4-pucks dasn't like slippage so it has the propensity (def: a natural inclination) to do a big "nasty" to your flywheel; not sure about the 6-puck disc in a similar setup.

What was driving and the problems I was having isn't anything like what you guys are doing (in some ways I guess it kind of is) but when the suggestion to make the change over was a recommended fix for what I was using the buggy for; I was also warned of the potential outcome if I abused the clutch... profusely recommended that is.

Stage 2, you will likely need to dump the clutch cable if you have not already.

Ive been running a stage 2 for a couple years and had no clutch cable issues.

Check the trans where the cross-shaft goes through for condition. I seem to remember some talk that the extra clutch-cover pressure can cause the shaft housing to crack/fail and/or the forks to fail so I'd keep an eye on it. All basic stuff to check before you get started anyway .
