Wide band recommendation?

I picked up a 1915 turbo engine and originally it had a side draft set up, but the guy I got it from put on a Holley carb. The power valve was not set up for boost reference. So we modified the carb for this. So now before I run it I would like to put in a wide band meter.

My brother has an AEM on his nova, that seems to work ok. And others have recommended the Innovate wide band.

Is one better then the others?

I have run a aem wideband for a few years and works well. On the other hand I did just purchase a PLX DM-6 wideband to replace it. I have not installed it yet but they look sweet you can also hook up different senders to have multiple gauges in one if you so choose. It also reads the health of your o2 sensor and reaction time so you know when to change it

I have 25,000 miles on my PLX DM-6 and still on the original O2 sensor. It has been a really good performing piece for me.

Ive got an Innovate LM2 with the original box, directions, software disc, USB adapter, sd card, an extra 02 sensor. Complete. I will be selling when I can dig it out of the garage. Worked awesome, the only reason I’m selling is because I’m going to EFI.

Wait, what? Wouldn't EFI be even more reason to keep and use it?

The system that I am using has the ability to manage and monitor much more than an LM-2. The data logging capabilities of the new efi systems is crazy. Not only that but the speed at which they operate makes them so much more effective .

Lm2 was designed to be used with an efi setup. Not many efi systems have built in wide band controllers, but some do, AEM is one. Does the infinity come with it built in? Those of us using the lc2 aren't just using that one sensor to manage our fueling, heck that is just one of 9 sensors in my exhaust alone.

I just mean that we watch temps and such too. I guess the simplest setup could have 2 temps and a wideband and still do okay.

Ha, good, cause what you mentioned in your last post is what I'm currently running.
