I am a relitivly new owener of a '74 Thing. Referbed mechanically and now running solid!
I want to personalize my Thing with new "aggressive" Wheels and Tires. I have seen this exact set up on a Thing and loved the look. I need some expert advise on exactly HOW to pull this project off. Here is my plan..
FRONT: Wheels - 6X14 Tires: 245/60/14
REAR: Wheels: 7X15 Tires: 295/50/15
I plan to raise the car 1 1/2-inches. Use Chevy steel wheels - Tires will be BFG TA Radials - I'll need an adaptor as I have the wide-5 stock hubs
Your thoughts? Any issues with this Plan? Any thoughts on what spacific wheels I should use for this application?
